Taramps in clamped classes in usaci and meca

are you a guide to average power output per which taramps amp yet lol im curious to see at minimum what the bass 15ks are doing after rise and if anyone has wired them low. since no one wants to amp dyno it.
Most dont wire low. They clamp right around rated after rise.

What on earth are you talking about? They do rated power from all the test I've seen and rumor has it the bass 12 and 15k handle .5.

Not to mention it depends on a lot of factors that affect impedance. Like loading..

Most of the clamp issues have been figured out by now. Early on, brazillian was not allowed in many clamped classes.

But I was at finals this year (DbDrag) and saw alot of brazillian. Mainly SD...but still saw plenty

I want all new amps. Lol

Two T 800.1s for the mids [400 per mid)

Gonna keep two of the zenon 100.2s for the tweeters

One bridged per tweeter.

And a bass 12 or 15k

2 14v batts and a regulator to charge at 15.5

2 9518s

Hispls has a awesome amp but I'm digging the taramp 12k bass for 900..

I'm gonna run 15.5 with 14v batteries
You will destroy your batteries trying to charge above 14.8, and if you aren't using an 18V rated amp you will be putting your amp at risk. Absolutely not worth the minimal potential gains. If you want high voltage go 18V and use Korean amp designed for it or just stick to 14.8

You will not hurt 14v battery’s charging above 14.8v... 14v batts are ment to be charged at 16v, so 15.5v will be fine... also the vital power amp makes big power at 15v... like 11k //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif

The bass q2k is rated for 16.5. The 14 volt batteries float at 15.2. I can run 15.5-16 use a step-down and use the 14v batteries.

Vital power for $880 all day
I like that amp but I'm thinking the bass 12k after rise will give me as much if not more and be more efficent.

I have 13.5 cubes net with 2 10" ports.. doubt I need more than 6.5 per driver for a b-pillar wall. It's gonna peak in the low to mid 50hz range.. that vision blurring ****.

No, this is what kills many of these amps.

You cannot run a Brazilian like a Korean or it'll be in the shop.

This goes for all full bridge amps including American made.

The bass 12k is rated for 14.4v. 16.5v is just max range power supply to be on.

Think of a voltage divider.

At 0db for about a couple seconds, providing 14.4v at 1ohm will provide maximum power as stated online and in manual.

Under same conditions, increasing dc voltage will pop the fets as increase in voltage equals increase in current.

The voltage above 14.4v is for charging and starting voltage. As long as you are dropping below 14.5v, you are fine.

Hovering real close to 14.4v and clipping will also do the same thing as your output can increase as much as 40% in some cases when clipped to death.

If I were running a 14.4v bank, charging at 16.2v, as long as my load drop under near maximum output for the given reactive impedance is below 14.5v and clip free, then it's good.

0.5ohm wiring requires staying below around 13.5v to keep it safe and good output.

The absolute best is high dc voltage and wired around 1.5ohm with somewhat low rise.

This would imply a decent flat, average rise around 2.5ohm which would keep the output around 9-9.5k and keep the fets at low current, low heat. But you can't play with dynamic music like that so competition only is where it's more controlled.

Output on bass 12k on proper electrical should net up to about 8k on daily.

If space is no issue for what you want to do, get the vital amp.

The bass15k will do about 1500w more after rise than 12k.

Bass30k will hover close to 20kw daily and 26k 1ohm at 13.2v, 30k 1ohm 14.4v burping.

So now he's getting 14V batteries? Why not go 18V if you're not going to stick with standard 12V batteries?

I might of worded it poorly but this is what I wanted to know, thanks
