Patience I have, tolerance for nonsense I do not...this is not like trying to have your friend hook up your stereo & he'll do it when he gets around to it...a simple text, email or (God forbid) phone call would've been enough for me...because a bunch of people happen to catch him at the right time means little to me...I would look for someone who tries to take care of every potential customer he can to earn that business & good word of mouth...if you're cool w/that, more power to you...hopefully after reading this (and I'm sure he has) he'll take good care of you...again, good luck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Oddly enough I called you back at the number originally left with me and never got a response. This was Friday morning. This was also Not over a week ago, it was last Wednesday night (after 7pm) and on my CELL PHONE. Far later than most places are available and not to mention how many of them freely release their cell phone numbers?
You joined this forum about a week ago and have exactly 1 post and it is aimed towards me? Nice.

Sorry for being on the defensive side, but that is how I tend to get when you attempt to belittle both myself and my business.

Odd that you I show no calls received on my cell phone nor was a message left...it wasn't Wednesday that we spoke, it was Tuesday...I emailed you Sunday, called left a message on Monday & called you back on Tuesday (which was when we spoke & you claimed you were going to c/b the next day which NO CALL WAS RECEIVED NOR WAS A MESSAGE LEFT) You could've just responded to my pm here w/the information which I requested but you didn't do that either...I have no problem giving my business to someone else & you have no problem not getting my business so it all works out...What I posted was MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE dealing w/Unexpected Creations, thats it...nothing more more, nothing less...I never claimed you did bad work (I wouldn't know 1st hand, I never got that far) you probably do very good work from what people have said here, which is why I tried to contact you in the 1st place...I don't think I'm belittling anyone in giving a negative review in "trying" to do business w/you & your company...there should be a certain level of customer service (before going into IT, I worked in a customer service industry for years) when dealing w/a business & I unfortunately didn't see that...for every person that had a poor experience, there is probably a bunch that will rave about you...I wish I was one of those people....alas, I am not

Wednesday night is when you called my cell phone last. How do I remember? You called me on my bowling night which is when I told it was not a good time to talk. If my number did not show up nor you got a message, then perhaps a wrong number was used, but I DID call. It is not in my best interests to not call back when it is for business.

Regardless it is irrelevant, we have both moved on now.

ah thank you for your time, I will let you know. I wanna get a few more paychecks and make sure I gather the equipment I need, such as harnesses and modules (I really hate GM for puttin all this crap in the headunit, makes this **** so much harder). Im pretty sure I can do the headunit; I will pull it out and take a look and if not, I'll just have you do it when I get the time and money to have everything done. Thanks again, and I will hopefully be talking to you more about details soon... Also, if you could please just drop me a pm with your hourly cost so I can get an idea, that would be greatly appreciated.

 
From what i read, this guy 6spdcoupe is good. If you live in north nj, call this guy @ rare form designs, i believe in south hackensack by rte. 80. he's got audison , hertz, focal,audio systems and other good stuff. he does nice installs also. I bought audison and focal stuff from him. Good prices also. 201-457-0085 ask for Lou. Tell him Raul said to call. As for detailed sounds in caldwell, they are good and helpful but a little pricier.

 
if you happen to be up a little further east, Autosound by Willowbrook is pretty good (ask for Duke) or MobileAudio in Little Falls on 46 West (ask for Kal, he's the owner & he knows his stuff) Good luck w/whatever you do...
Autosound is horrible .. they installed a system in my 98 Escort coupe and left this ridiculous alternator whine that they have never been able to get rid of. I've never tried MobileAudio, but stay away from Totowa Audio on Browertown Rd in West Paterson .. dude installed a cheap headunit in my mom's 98 Accord and left one of the illumination wires exposed and hanging loose .. shorted something and killed all the car's dash lights

I gotta get in contact with Don soon .. I'm anxious for a kickass audio system

 
i can vouch for mobileaudio in little falls kal is a great guy and easy to talk to plus they carry brands like alpine, pioneer and jl i think he also carries morel speakers but im not sure.

Also do you have any experience with sub woofers for BMW 3 Series (E46) Convertible. All solutions I have seen have it firing at or in the ski pass. I would like to fit a 10" but am height limited. As long as I stay to a 12" depth I can fit a 10.5" high box so I am guessing I am limited to about 0.75cf. If I dropped the box height to 10.25" I could go to a larger box, but a most 10" subs seem to have an OD of 10.5" or more. I have seen 10" subs mounted in the ski pass "free air" to the trunk, but I can't imagine that is a great solution for what I want to be a high end system. I am also looking for a sub that would integrate well with the relatively high 80 Hz crossover of the kicks.
