    COMPLETED WTB 2k amp

I’m trying to stay away from Brazilian, I know I’m the past they weren’t as musical and were picky about impedance loads. They may have improved in the past few years but I just don’t have any experience with them.

    COMPLETED WTB 2k amp

Looking for a true 2k amp don't really need bigger. I prefer a Korean or US made amp, I would be perfectly happy with old school.

2 15's vs. 1 18, what would be best for what i want?

I ran 2 15's then switched to 2 18's, I loved the sound of the 18's. There are a ton of variables but what I do notice is that I'm willing to bet that your amp doesn't do rated power. I think you might run a single sub better then a pair if you are looking at 2 15's or a single 18 of the same model.

Doing an install in my 17 challenger scat pack, need some input...

I know, I've debated using them but I think there is clearance issues with fitment on a 6'5" woofer and I assumed a 6x9 would be better then a 5.25". I could be wrong of course, I am mainly trying to avoid cutting anything on the car.

Doing an install in my 17 challenger scat pack, need some input...

One thing I considered was 6x9 separates but the midbass in the door and the tweeter in the dash is an awful lot of separation. I thought about 6.5" components but need to see if they will fit, a lot of people say they needed to go to 5.25" components because of clearance issues in the door.

Doing an install in my 17 challenger scat pack, need some input...

Long time no see... I bought a 2017 challenger scat pack with the 6 speaker alpine system(complete garbage). I'm going to try out the new idatalink maestro ar with the Kenwood Excelon XR600-6DSP to get rid of the crappy bass correction from the stock amplifier. Here's what I'm trying to...

    Looking at the Sundown X-18

That you did sir... Great subs from what I read, been considering pretty heavily for quite some time. I see quite a few guys tuning that low for home theater applications, I might even go sealed but not sure yet.

    Looking at the Sundown X-18

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I ended up buying 2 of the Dayton ultimax 18's for now. I figured I would eventually go with 4 of them and keep the power requirements reasonable. The Stereo Integrity looked sweet but budget and power requirements would be a whole new level. I figured 4 of the...

    Looking at the Sundown X-18

I probably should have said that these are going into the worst acoustical environment, 2 car garage with open rafters and studs. The room also has a ton of reflection issues but I can correct that. The problem is I need to make up for having a bad listening area with moving a ton of air. I was...

    Looking at the Sundown X-18

Hi guys, Looking into building a pair of home theater subs, I figured because the subs I want to use are designed for car audio I would ask about it here. How would these subs perform tuned very low, around the 18hz range? I would run a pair of them in separate boxes, each would see between...
