Yeh if I go bigger then I have to go all the way and get the big amp too. Back in the day thats how it would be but my damb kids keep growing and need leg room.

The amp is not under the seat know I decided to mount it to the back of the seat and put the box in front. The amp cuts out in heavy bass I adjusted the gain so that I know how far I can turn it up without it cutting out.

A double cab. I made brakets to move the back seat up and out about 2 inches to fit a box behind the seats and the amps under but I was worried about the amp not getting any air under the seat under the foam. All in all it doesn't sound bad for what I have atleast it is better than stock.

No room for another amp. I guess I am going to try porting the box I have if it sounds beter than great. If not I will seal it back up. Do to the space I had to use 1/2 in particle wood and then I fiber glassed it for strengh. Thanks for the help. AD

OK I know this has been asked a thousand times, but here's my scenario. I have a Toyota double cab and made a custom box for my Apline type R 10. Right now the box is sealed and very small, to fit behind center console and in front of rear seat. The speaker sounds good now but the alpine 5...

need help with new alpine F450 amp

well I looked up how to set gain and as soon as I get time will be correctly setting it. for the most part I did what they said I just didn't use the 45hz tone. I think the way it is set up now is about what it will be after I set the new setting, without the ocassional cut out on some songs. I...

need help with new alpine F450 amp

I'm not messing with the gain. just trying to set it to get the most out of my amp. I should be able to turn it all the way up without it cutting out or at least half way. as it is now I almost have to turn it all the way down to prevent it from cutting out when the bass hits.
