    Old(ish) thread that got off topic, but bluetooth is similar to wifi, and operates at 2.4 giga hz. It's short range, and isn't too powerful. I wouldn't be any more concerned about bluetooth than wifi, which is all around us all the time. That being said, we don't always understand health risks...

    Only concern I would have is making sure the terminated ends of the wire are sealed well. Heat shrink is usually sufficient. I know here in Iowa, exposed copper wire on a cheap wire terminal would corrode quickly on the underside of an engine. I would definitely use a lug that's sealed on the end.

    I don't know of many car audio forums in general that are still active. As much as it pains me to say it, you may be better off finding a European car audio group on Facebook.

    I would definitely like to see us rely less on fossil fuel, and more on renewable energy for the sake of the planet. Not for "future generations" though, because I hate people. I do think we should have infrastructure here for fossil fuel production though. The Middle East crippled the US Oil...

    One way to check things is to get a cheap $5 RCA to AUX splitter at Walmart, plug some headphones in, and see if you can hear the whine from the RCA's coming from the head unit...

    Part of the reason you need a permit is to ensure proper geological surveying has been done. Could drill into a pocket of something and release it into a local water supply.
