Well....think I like 2 12 or 3 10 What subs would work best 1200 watts (maybe trade amp for a 1500 watt) 3 to 3.5 cuft @ 30hz

Oh, and I do appreciate the suggestions. It is all helpfull. At the end of all of this I hope to have a set of subs to purchase and know what box I am going to build.

Four 8" = 201.06 Two 12" = 226.19 I admit...I have never heard 8's before. Hell....I do not remember what 10's are even like. If 3 or 4 8's get loud....ok. But do they "feel" like 12's? The back massage was nice, lol.

Ok, all of my wiring is now done. Amps are in. I have my 12" JL's in a sealed box temporarily until I can figure out which route to go next. So... with about 1000 watts (spec sheet says 1250) And about 3.5cu ft of space. Figure tune to 30hz What subs, how many, what size? 1 good 12...

I am still able to access the forums. I just see that symbol during load times.

My Honda Civic has the tweeters in pods way way up in the dash. They sound fine to me.... There is about 3 inches before the tweeter hits the windshield...

Sometimes when I go to the forum...change pages or whatever. I get a full white screen with this  That symbol is in the upper left hand corner. Wasnt there before...

Personally I would just do all of them. You will already be under the hood, and to get a 5ft cable and a fuse and holder isnt that expensive.

You could do the same thing in the fuse box if that is easier to access. Depends on the car. My friend had an 08 Vera Cruz and the fuse box was a nightmare. So we pulled the stock head unit and just tested wires until we found one that gave power with the key on...but with the key off there...

Go to walmart or autozone, and buy a test light. Maybe $5 or $10. Take out the stock head unit. Turn your key to the on position. Ground the test light and touch it to wires until the light on the testlight comes on. Once the light is on, turn the key off. If the light on the testlight...

Really? Going to do some searching on that..... Got any links off hand? Bad as in customer service.... or bad as in quality of the sub?
