I'm thinking about getting an Alpine type x 12" sub, which is a dual 4 ohm, if you wire it parrell it cuts it in half to 2 ohms right? I need to find a good amp to put out a good rms wattage at 2 ohms? I see a lot of amps doing 1000+ on 1 ohm.. What kind of sub would you need to wire it down to...
