i might recone it and sell it eventually... just dont feel like tinkering with it now... well 2 se's it is... just wasnt sure if there was a downside to running the same amp for either set-up... or i just needed a little more persuasion to go ahead and do 2 10's also, has anyone had much bad...

i have a se10 that needs a re-cone and i was going to make it an sexxx d2 so it would be wired down to 1ohm instead of the stock d4 and 2ohms and power it with the hifonics brutus bx1000d i had pushing it before... which was in a 1.0 cu ported box tuned to 35 inside of a regular cab dodge...

well i had e-mailed re and i asked if somehow i could upgrade and in return fix my issue and greg offered to recone it with xxx parts to make it a seXXX

for what reasons? price really doesnt bother me that much... i was just wondering if upgrading it would be worth while? if it's not then yes i'll probably sell the sub and buy a newer se10d2 or would it be a better bet to go with a se12d2?

I've got an Re SE10 D4 that needs a recone.... now it'll either be 112 for stock recone or 140 to have the XXX parts instead i am completely happy with the se10 the way it was... it was in my 2000 dodge dakota regular cab with a 1.0cu box tuned to 33hz... i liked how low and loud it got with...

the mp3 player is a stand alone.... meaning... i use the mp3 player to change the song etc.... would be the same as attaching a portable dvd player to it and trying to get sound through it the same with the cd.... i put cd in... read's it etc... but no sound coming out of it.... it just boggles...

alright... well i went out and bought one of these (didn't like any pioneer's or clarion... and i couldnt find an eclipse dealer around me) anyways... got it all installed... radio works... sub works.... mp3 player doesnt play through it (i bought the adapter for stereo connections) and also...

and once you posted that i didn't say anything else bad about clarion... i just said that they did not seem as great as alpine or eclipse... i didn't say "clarion ain't nothin compared to alpine/eclipse" and 99% of the people on this board aren't in on this thread either.... but i have no doubt...

it's cool... i'm sorry too... i did not mean to offend anyone... i'm sorry i made that comment... i just went off of what i knew .... and i wasn't really hating on it... atleast not after ya'll said anything about it... was just stating reasons as to why it was not high on my list of percieved...

18 actually.... and i was not trying to sound like an ass.... clarion just does not stand out to me as a respectable brand... either cause i don't see it in stores... or because no one i know uses them... and well the screen on that particular model did not look all to great... looked cheap you...

companies like alpine and lately eclipse seem to be a better brand the clarion... i bought the sony when i was 16 and didn't know any better... sony because of the name(usually high quality stuff) it wasn't till about a month or so after i bought it that i found that they weren't so great...
