yea, i acually know a guy that went big turbo on his 1.8T...it was like 350whp and 370wtq...mighty fast, then he boosted the turbo too hard...lol. i think he replaced the turbo and is good to go now!

i didnt say it was turbo'd...i was just making a comparison it is an NA motor, with crappy torque curve. and was saying how its fast on the highway, but not in the low RPMs, and VW is making sure that this car is solid in all aspects...sorry, i dont think i said it right...

depends on what you are looking for...the acura RSX and the audi A4 are two completely different cars...im sure we can help out more and give suggestions if you have a style of car you are looking for. with that being said, my 1.8T has 95k miles on it, and its pretty solid, not major problems...

i agree...no idea how much the stock stuff can handle. you could always run a small turbo and rock ~12psi. otherwise you would maybe have to change out some internals, i dont know suzuki's well, but ill assume they arent built for FI.

newer and a lot less maintaince. are you looking for a bigger car too? my cousin has a sentra spec V and its pretty peppy and quick, but smaller and a little bit less luxurious and cheaper. otherwise my vote goes to the altima, the new maximas are fast, but i dont really care for its styling.

you can invest in a full 3" exhaust downpipe and cat back. GHL is a good brand. or you can look into an ebay DP, they are cheap, and from what i hear works pretty well. i have a full 2.5" milltek exhaust and a 2.5" milltek DP for my 1.8T. invest in a computer chip, they are sweet.
