Will a High Output Alternator Fry my car's Electrical System?

If the Phx metro has a regulated and secure pressurized water supply, the rest of the non-desert communities should also. AZ takes like 5-10% of the colorado river supply btw. The Salt River Project (SRP) is responsible for water in the 12th largest metro area that receives the least amt of rain...

    Fixing Broken Car Amps

I'm in the middle of diagnosing my Sega Genesis v2. Won't pass the licence screen, ugh! Cart pins show continuity and following the pins to the board for connection was an hour+. I kept this ***** in good working order in the 90s. Caps looks almost boring. Flat as a rail. Next week I'll take...

Wiring 0 gauge and 4 gauge, two amps ??

Here's a Question that I may be confused about. What if you subsituted your "240A" fuse for a 60amp fuse. Obviously your setup would IMMEDIATELY blow that fuse/connection. i run 3 million watts and 7 inchs from my battery is an 80watt fuse. No clue how I continue to rattle earth's cracks

    Motorcycle cycle speaker?

That is nuts! Every now and then around the east valley in AZ (Gilbert, Chandler) you hear a hog come rippin through and he eases off the clutch...meanwhile his radio is just BLARING. It's sooo rare on this side of the Phoenix valley but pretty awesome. My head turns when I hear all motorcycles...

First subwoofer, reasonable setup under 500?

Can promise you they're not Dewalt quality, but I've only bought HF handle pump clamps so far and they've worked from my 3 box builds to some other smaller wood/home improvement projects. I always shop in store however.

First subwoofer, reasonable setup under 500?

Did Skar hurt your feelings because their subs are 20% more affordable and exactly the same materials and QC standard compared to every other mainstream audio market that's been around for decades that's now struggling b/c of our current national situation? Cry me a river.

    Motorcycle cycle speaker?

Dang, that pic you posted is a stock HD? Just talk here but with a 4 channel mini (marine?) amp - 4 front 6.5s wired parallel. Makes more sense for some front components if I knew how to ride and own. What's wrong with the stock setup? Looks like one of Harley's top trims. Who knows

    Motorcycle cycle speaker?

Two 6x9s and Four 6.5"? A HD is 1/3rd the size of my shitbox and I have two 6.5s+component and two 6x9s in cabin. Not a chance Four 6.5s and Two 6x9s would fit in a stock Harley nonetheless power that setup. Although, I know 2 out of 100 about motorcycles. Logic.

    Sound deadener placement advice

It's an easy answer. The raised sections of your trunk are thicker than the flat parts. You can tap your knuckle on different areas to test---lower frequency tap means more resistant vibration quality. Anyway, cut out some small pieces over the flat spots on that trunk. No need to be precise...

What's a sufficient electrical plan to support 3k?

Over planning is good if you'd like to keep your vehicle running for many years. Here's some math: 250 amps = 3450w at 13.8v (idle). Measure in your vehicle's electrical tax that's, let's say an older Toyota Highlander, with no accessories on--you're looking at an output of a 150A alt. Add...

    Alpine Type X Subwoofer

Can't be much help and can't afford something that rich. They're pretty subs tho and if anything like Alpine's QC, with a tightly sealed trunk they'd probably blow the stucco off a nearby building and leave you deaf and dead inside your cabin.

    No sound on subwoofers

You had time to install it into your buddy's vehicle after you installed it into yours? That's dope. Wish I had a second car mainly for test purposes.

    1993 Toyota

My original alternator died about 3 months ago. The amp I fixed was supposed to have been decent. NOPE. I was on my last leg of electricity and the best and worst bass hits in my beater didn't spark a problem. I fought this in the past on here. But now it's conclusive. If you upgrade to an...
