    This is my car door. It's on a curve around the 5 1/4. I suppose it's possible to jam a 6.5" in there maybe? But I doubt I'd be able to do an intricate flush job that looks good. Still some 5 1/4" make quite a bit of noise at high-end levels. I'm thinking of adding a couple 3" or 4" mid-ranges...

    I'm looking to spend around $1,000. Everything right now is factory stock in the vehicle however I planned on getting new 10/12ga AWG wiring. I have a Dual aftermarket radio to HU to (XDVD269BT) It's a standard 12V battery & alternator. Thank you!

    Are you sure? The front 5 1/4" speakers are a woofer & tweeter with the rear 6x9 being a woofer, tweeter, and "optional" midrange. I'd always rather have 6.5" of course but I'm trying to avoid any panel modifications if I can help it.
