Hi guys, I have a 2012 ram 3500 Laramie mega cab with the alpine system and was wondering what some of you have done for speaker, amp, and headunit setups. What is the best way to go for speakers and headunit or amp. Show me what you have.

Would it work if I have 4 channels of preouts on headunit (not including sub) ram to a 4 channel running mids on rear and tweets on front channel. The amp can do high pass from 15-6000hz and low pass 50-6000 so I think that would work?

What are my options for running separate signals to my tweeters and mids?

I am thinking to get a sub or multiple for my truck, I'm wondering what would be best for playing music, mainly rap. I'm thinking an spl sub but I don't know how good that would sound for music. whatever I buy I would build a box to spec for. budget is about 400-700 CAD. Thanks
