    Enclosure advice for multiple subs...

Also, for the sake of not wasting another thread's space; The Amp is stable down to 2 Ohm (KX-1600.1 with a certificate that reads 1,763wrms). If I wire the sub to 8 Ohm each and wire them in parallel (8/3 = 2.6), I should get ~452wrms to each sub, right? Despite the different power...

    Under-seat Sub Options...

This project has been resolved...for now. For research/amusements sake, if anyone's interested I can post pictures. Anyway! I bought a little Soundstream Picasso Nano (1,000wrms @ 1 Ohm), and managed to fit an Alpine SWS-12D4 (500wrms 4 Ohm DVC) under each seat. Each sub is getting it's 500w...

    Enclosure advice for multiple subs...

Hi. I'd read that ported will create greater volume, but sealed will have more "punch". I'm greedy for volume so I was always drawn to ported, but I also have a preference for a "punch" sound, not a "drone", so I thought this might be a good way to get both.

    Enclosure advice for multiple subs...

I have three Kicker L7s 10" subs and I am wanting to make an enclosure for them. Plan: *Each sub has it's own airspace, three separate air spaces within the enclosure. *The two outer ones will be ported with the middle sub being sealed, or vice versa (following manufacturer's recommendations...

    Under-seat Sub Options...

I think you're right - given the space, i'll just go for a smaller subwoofer. Back to the space issue, i'm now thinking of either a Kicker PX, or Soundstream Picasso Nano amp. Good/Bad iea?

    Under-seat Sub Options...

It's a Toyota bB (Scion Xb?). There's a surprising amount of room under the seats so i'm going to utilise that (putting the Jack, under passenger seat, in the boot). Since the two woofers suggested above apparently aren't that great, i'll go with the bigger sub under one seat while the amp is...

    Evaluating a Factory Fitted Crossover...

I am wanting to upgrade the factory fitted speakers in my car. The rear speakers are coax. The fronts have mid ranges in the doors, and tweeters in the dash. I can simply replace all four with coax, but i'd like to make the fronts Components. Instead of hunting around in the small confines...

    Single Din Wanted

Single Din Wanted View Listing (Update; I better put the potential Deal Breaker in early - I would require shipping to New Zealand) I can fit a Double Din, but am not really negotiable, I am set on a Single. l've previously had a JVC KD-AVX11, and it seemed...

    Under-seat Sub Options...

Thanks a lot for the replies, they confirmed my suspicions. I've only ever had one subwoofer in a car before, and it was Kappa Perfect 12D vq. I was unsure how to do the fine tuning, so I just had it in a ~1 cu.ft sealed box. It may not be a "legendary" sub, but I think it's probably spoiled me...

    Under-seat Sub Options...

I realise this is a pretty vague question... To put things in to a bit more context; I had a demo of one of these and found it pitiful (more like a gentle hum really): http://soundstream.com/product/rfmp8-0/ Would one of the previously mentioned Kicker Subs provide more spl?

    Under-seat Sub Options...

Hi. Space was not an issue with my last car. However, now space is limited, so I have to consider other options. Are these any good? (I have no experience with these reflex/radiator type of set ups) https://www.kicker.com/675-comprt-subwoofer-box-4-ohm
