Is there any reason that Kicker subs are square?

i may have swtihed a + and - wire on my subs when i installed into the box. would that pressnt a probem? Im not really sure

I accidently dropped my hot 4awg wire on my amp when i was holdin it. It sparked and then some smoke pored out the vent in my amp. It still works though? Is anythign wrong with it..should i replcae anything?

I have 2 amps and 1 blue turn on lead. Do i need to buy another peace and hook them together or run a whole other blue wire. Can i just twist the wires together and run 2 feet of it to my 1 amp and 2 feet to my other amp??
