Just bought a rockford 800.4 for 155 shipped. Seller said no issues other than missing endcaps and rf badge. The bass knob was broken off inside the potentiometer, removed the cover to take it out and found these.

Trying to talk some dude on fb out of wasting 300+ on an l7 15 with a way too small prefab box. No go. Must be good marketing when people refuse to believe a 900 rms sub for 300 bills is a kinda crappy deal.

Doable or dumb idea? My plans were to run silver flutes in the back playing from 50-150ish hz, then some coaxs from 150 up.  Not using a sub, just looking for really tight and loud kick drum freq and ear splitting vocals/guitar

No, but i will say a solder sucker and good [60 plus watt] soldering iron will make the job much easier 

Found an nvx refurb for 124 shipped, ended up w that.  This is just going in a daily driver so im keeping it pretty cheap.   Gonna put midbass in the back doors and coaxs in the front.  Unless
