A SA-8 with the right amp and right enclosure will def be a nice choice. They are little monsters! I run a sundown E8v4 and while def not an SA-8, it works pretty darn good for my small car.

Do any of you know if anyone sells 4 gauge ends that allow cleaner hookup to the amp. When I put my wires in the amp (power and ground), it was very hard to get them into the amp connections cleanly. Or is there a nifty secrete I don't know about.

So I redid the ground and will be setting gain via dmm this weekend. A new enclosure is also being built as per the suggestion of sundown and they provided me with a revised slightly smaller internal volume design as their design which I used, was really designed for the SA8, not the E8. Hoping...

^^ Thanks, I believe the setting is 125hz or if you are referring to the leave it at 80 and put the output level to +6 which I believe is the highest.

So I checked this morning, once the subwoofer #1 setting is set to normal, subwoofer #2 setting only has freq cutoff numbers, there is no off option. So I assume I should just leave it 80 for setting the gain and bring the +2 down to 0. Thanks.

Trumpet, yes, speakers are powered by H/U. Your point is well taken. With regards to the LPF, when you say leave as is, which one are you referring to, the H/U, amp or both? Thanks

Guys I feel kind stupid, that hole underneath the large gold bolt in photo #3 above, I didn't realize I can run the ground wire right underneath the plastic panel and then to the amp which is pretty close. That hole also has room where I can reach behind and use a nut so unless someone thinks...
