Not sure I understand the question but ohm has more to do with wiring. Your amp has to be rated to accept the ohm you are shotting for and your sub has to be wired right to attain that ohm as well. You shouldn't be running different watts to subs wired to one amp, if you are there is something...

Trying to fix it would be a waste of time and money. I've never heard of anyone actually trying to fix a blown sub but if you feel the urge you could maybe try to use some superglue or something to fix the tear.

They are almost interchangable. But if you get real technical, a reciever covers everything from MD players to radio only recievers. A Cd player is just that, a cd player it may or may not accept fm signals, etc but now adays just about every cd player is a reciever.

You could stick with an audiobahn amp if you have the cash. I'm not sure I'd recommend sony for anything car audio but I've never heard or used their class D amps so I have no comment on them.

I've got the lanzar 1200D and so far it's working fine for me. I would recommend the 1200D if you're on a budget like I was. However their lower grade vibe amps aren't all that great but again, if your on a budget they will probabaly be fine. The Opti Lanzar series is a good series however.

preamp outputs let you run an rca from the deck to the amp to send the audio signal they are almost definately needed. And yes it is worth it to get the 5 volt out because the higher the voltage the cleaner the signal sent to the amps and therefore the cleaner your music.

Pyramids are very low quality, I wouldn't recommend building a system around them. but keys is right, go listen to them and if you can't tell the difference then you woun't have a problem with them I guess.
