    Hide screw holes

Clamps and glue, don't use screws. Otherwise the correct color wood putty/filler is a decent option...

    Port of A 4th Order

Ummm....no, not even close to correct information. My 4th plays 25-60hz rather loudly as do most that I build. All about sealed size, ratio, port tuning. Lot of guys build 4ths to play into the teen, so those will fall off and octave or so higher but that's not the "typical" 4th....

    2003 Civic Sedan - Looking for 150

Power limited is all about box efficiency and efficient subs, don't be afraid to try diff subs.... Vid is my daily beater...2 HDC4 15's in a daily box that does decent numbers on lots of power.

    2003 Civic Sedan - Looking for 150

Yes I meant .25ohm per amp, you can't unpause burp, you have to slowly roll up the volume. I did that with 4 old AQ3500's on 3 junk batts and got decent numbers before protecting. Watch vid to see how slowly I rolled up the volume...not pretty but it worked.

subs/port forward gets rid of the rattles....and sounds best IMO...

What is louder? More cone area, more power, or more drivers?

Plenty of center ports getting loud....trunks and walls. I prefer subs firing forward for trunk setups, have yet to see a LOUD rear firing set up. subs forward/driver's side port is proven to work well in Cavaliers and similar vehicles. Not sure what OP has though....

    Do Sundown subs just smell?

sunsets do seem to have a distinct smell, mine are a few years old and still give off a little odor if I play a clipped song...

Can my ground be 3ft for my amp?

As for the length of your grounds...whatever it needs to be. Front to back grounds are common on vehicles with multiple alts/batt banks in the rear...pretty sure they're longer than 3'....

    Glue for dust caps

you can remove the old dustcap since you're putting new one on. I've never used heat gun, just a steady hand and razor knife E6000, GOOP, CA glue...any will do the job. CA and activator will have you playing in minutes vs waiting 24hrs...if that matters

    Would this design actually work?

Couple things might be able to do: remove springs/hinges....trunk lids are heavy as fug with no assist, just be aware of that make "T" shaped box with bigger front so subs/port will fit I run 2 15's in the daily, hella work to make it fit but well worth the effort....
