2000 rms on stock alt and battery? That's really pushing it. Could be setting yourself up for some nasty voltage drops and frying the amps.

Always fuse your power wire. Check your voltage. Battery been checked lately?

When I had my 12" Rs I had them in 2.5 cubes each @28hz. Each one had 1000 rms. How big is your box?

I'd use two of them. If the window seals are in good condition most newer vehicles don't get any water in the doors.

You say that the comps are 6.5's. Is there only mids and no tweeters or what? Nick, go into mspaint or something and make a little diagram so we can visualize what you have going on.

To check it out theoretically: watts = amps X volts 1008 = 70 x 14.4 That doesnt take into account the charge stored by your battery. Should be fine but there's lots of variables. Good luck and have fun.
