    Best Deck with Apple Carplay

Anyone know anything about this unit? It's cheap enough to buy and give a try. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CNYR4ZJM/?tag=caraudiocom-20

    Best Deck with Apple Carplay

Its a 2004 ranger. I'm doing a big system in it but the budget is getting tighter and tighter. My kid likes to use his iPhone for his music source and would like to be able to display the navigation on the radio as he's running it on his phone. Wireless connection would be nice, but wired...

    Best Deck with Apple Carplay

I have done a lot of research, but as always, there are too many choices and they all seem to get the same review. I'm looking for a deck that has Apple Carplay. It would be best if it's wireless, but wired is okay. I was also looking at the 1.5 din indash screens, but they are all from off...

    How long to install system?

I agree with the other post. It all depends on what is getting installed. How many amps are being installed? What's the amount of power? Will it be a custom box or a pre-fab? I'm guessing you're keeping the radio, so will you be installing a DSP? Will you have custom panels made for to house...

OFC vs CCA for wiring amp to car and for speaker use . . .

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.

Stinger out with 4 and 5 channel versions of their monoblocks

If an amp doesn't have space to put RCA's, then have some hardwired RCA's coming out of it.

I like that 5ch, but I really dislike the pig tail RCA connections.

Kicker Key200.4 Amp+DSP with STOCK speakers on '24 Ford Maverick?

For a tweeter, and you're on a budget, you can get bass blockers. It is not the best route, but they will work. Just make sure your installer checks the ohms of the tweeters. The ohms will affect the high pass frequency of the bass blocker.

    Chasing parasitic draw

Disconnect the battery lead at the alternator and see if your power still drains. Or, disconnect everything from the battery so just the battery is connected to the alternator. Then check to see if there is a draw from the battery to the alternator.

That's a really good choice. Pricey, but still can't go wrong with it.

    1st Gen Orion 225 HCCA

we use to get these style amps a lot. We would Pull the plug, drill it out just enough to fit the wire through, and extend the inside wires. It was rare for someone to have the plug. We would also upgrade the power and ground wire.

    1st Gen Orion 225 HCCA

I never thought I would ever use this diagram again. LOL... If you open the amp, you will see the same colors on the back of the plug. Right+: Yellow. Pin 1 Right-: Black/Yellow under the yellow. Pin 4 Left+: Orange. Pin 2 Left-: Black/Orange under the orange. Pin 5 Remote: Blue. Pin 8...

Dang dude. Calm down! Sensitive much? Nobody's attacking you. Your topic, before the one I commented on, was talking about wattage. Therefore, it's easy to get lost in your conversation.
