As long as you use common sense you will be fine using the bass boost. Obviously you dont wanna turn the gain and boost way up. It doesn't sound like you are doing that though.

Yeah I bought one of those. Then got rid of my truck, so I never used it lol. Even bought a different case for $30 to make it a direct fit

Thanks Okie, right now he is looking at some MB Quarts and some Phoenix Gold Rsd components. I have 2 sets of Rsd's in my Blazer that I think sound great. I hate to copy my system over to his though so trying to get the Mb Quarts unless someone has a better suggestion ;p

You would have to talk to the installer and see where would be best for your car. They can go in the door next to the woofer if there's room, in the A-Pillar is a pretty popular spot also, mine are in the dash in my truck in the factory spot and they sound ok there. It really depends on your car...
