i do not know if the voltage meter on my pioneer deh-80prs is a true reading but my voltage stays between 14.2 - 14.4 at all times and some times it may drop down to 13.6v for a few sec but that never happens very much. as fare as the amp geting hot no it just gets warm.

Is this truck you putting the sa-10 in a work truck or just a personal truck. the reason I ask is if it were my truck and I had no problem giving up a little bit of space in my bed. I would build a 4th order bandpass blowthough setup and just have a port going into the truck.
