Adding a 1/0 wire to your battery should not mess with any of your electrical @StephenS. However you should ALWAYS disconnect the battery first before trying to add anything new.

I'm back, and I need help

Finally got everything put in over the weekend with the help of Jonathan Doll @ Lake City Customs (Warsaw, IN). I'll grab a few pictures this afternoon before I put the back seat back in. Initial thoughts -- Holy DEH-80prs options Batman! AutoEQ/TA *****, but setting it manually Without the...

    Rotozip or Dremel for installs?

That would work for the A-pillars, I think it's 6.5" adapters. The ID 6.5's I have don't fit the cutout hole. Was looking for something that I could use as well.

    Rotozip or Dremel for installs?

Need to cut out a couple holes in my A-pillars to mount the tweets and was wondering what you all were using for cutting circles in plastic (and wood for later use) in your installs? Or is there a specific tool that you wouldn't go without?

I'm back, and I need help

Where did you run your Power and RCAs? Did you replace the door speakers as well? Where did you run those? I'm trying to avoid absolutely ripping apart my truck to install this stereo. It also seems the Scosche 6x9 adapters (142SA69) don't fit the ID CS6.5's.... This install keeps kicking me in...

I'm back, and I need help

I might use the blue Loctite then since I will probably end up taking the subs out or downsizing in a year or so, but that does make me feel a little bit better. I'm not exactly sure what kind of space I have behind the back seat. If anything I would imagine I can get at least one back there...

I'm back, and I need help

So I finished up the deadening in the doors and on the back panel. Probably going to leave the floor and roof for now. As soon as I get a USB cable compatible with my Galaxy S8 I'll create a build thread and add all the pictures. I'm having a real hard time though with the installation of the...

    RE Audio SE 10

I thought I remember them being something like 1.5-2 @ 30-32hz.. I had one of the old SX models and they suggested a little higher tuning was like 1.5-2 @ 35hz.

    Eq w/ DEH-80PRS ?

Have just about everything I need for the system in the truck (new HO alt coming later summer) and was wondering if people are still using EQs or line drivers anymore? Back in the day the AudioControl Epicenter was the bees knees. Any suggestions for one with the DEH-80PRS or should the onboard...

I'm back, and I need help

Ordered the Noico and NVX wiring kit today. Question, do I need a wiring harness since I'm not running the factory speakers? I feel like it's a dumb question and the answer should always be yes, but it's almost a standalone system at this point?
