Hmm single voice coil 8 ohm. Thats going to be tuff to get an amp to push it loud. If you get another sub you can wire them in parallel thus yielding a 4ohm load, which almost any amp can push easy. Then all you need is a 200 to 400 watt amp. Look at mtx amps.

I would like to build a box for my audiobahn 1200 eu speaker. I plan on using plexiglass on the sides of the box. What thickness glass should i use? 1/2 or 3/4. Also I would like to cover the inside of the box with white firmica. Is this ok to use? Thanks
