I'm willing to bet part of your problem is that power acoustik amp. They other part is most likely the box. But at the end of they day it's still only a w3. So you can only expect so much from it. But I would change the amp and the box before I swapped with a $100 sub

In my area its 10x harder to sell everything as a whole package.i usually sell subs and box separate from the amp. Just my experiences. Plus I like to hang on to random subs and amps for just in case later on.

I would run the Dayton if your looking for sealed an sq. Or pick up a used w6. That's the only way I ever buy JL audio is used. I wont buy JL new, not worth that price. But used you can get some good stuff for good prices
