First I had to get it wired. I started this last week when my wire showed up in the mail. I got 20 ft of KnuKonceptz 0 gauge oxygen free copper wire for $80 shipped. I also have about 15feet of 0 gauge Rockford Fosgate wire that I took out of my old Mustang. I'm running the ground all the way from the battery up front to the trunk where i will eventually have another separate battery. So it will be 1 positive and 1 negative as well running from the front battery to the trunk. I didn't feel like messing with searching for a good ground and the wire really wasn't that expensive and this way I'm guaranteed to have a good ground connection. I heard that to get wire through the firewall in a Tiburon you have to take off the front driver side wheel and then take off the wheel well cover and then you can find a nice size hole to put the wire through. So i jacked my car up and it turned out my lug nuts were too tight to unscrew with my lug wrench that came with the car. I had to take my car to a car shop down the road where they loosened them for me the next day. Then i jacked the car up and the jack leaned over. Sh*tty jack but then i found out that this was caused by the slight angle of the parking lot so i moved my car horizontally and got it to work. Wheel off and wheel well cover off It was extremely hot this day, 90 degrees and humid with the high June sun. I was soaked in sweat working on that hot asphalt. I got pretty sun burnt since I took my shirt off to cool down. Wished I had a cooled garage haha Starting to run the wire This is looking from inside the wheel well at the opening i put the wire through Instead of cutting a hole in the rubber and running the wire through there i just left this piece unattached like this. Do you guys think that that is okay to leave like that?
