A buddy of mine has an expiditon with the v8. He's been having charging system issues recently and asked me for help. I'm not really a Ford guy, and it's a used vehicle so I'm kinda at a loss. Sometimes the alt will charge fine, solid 14.5v, other times the voltage is down around 10v, sometimes it jumps around from 14-16v. Is there a simple way to fix this? Alt was tested good so I'm guessing it's one of them fancy ECU controlled alternators? Any help would be appreciated, this is the first time I've come across something a quick Google session didnt answer for me. Matt
