First of all, I have a JBL GTO14001 amp hooked to 2 JBL p1224 subs. A friend of mine that is allegedly good with car audio tuned the HP and LP frequencies for me, he likes how they sound, but, I don't know if it sounds right. It seems like my friend with 2 type R's sound lower than my p1224's on the same song. I don't know if it is because he has a ported box in an suv, and I have a sealed in a car, but, it just doesn't seem right. So, how do I know what I need to set the passes on? Here is a link to show you guys what I'm working with. JBL GTO14001 Thanks!
