[QUOTE="Grimmjoww, post: 8838030, member: 682803"] I got the box built today, all that's left is to go back over it with puddy and give it a good sanding. I think if your going to buy something nice you should take the time to make your best effort so I am going to finish it out to a fine/medium grit paper (400ish) after I use some wood putty to fill any imperfections. You will notice in the last few shots that you cant see the screws in the second baffle when I put the third baffle trim ring on. That's because I traced it out and put the screws behind it. I missed a couple though, was thinking of getting closer to the shoulder on the sub portal but thought it would be in the way when I go to use my nut serts on the box for the sub anchors. Gonna get it as slick as I can and make sure to chase any edges then stain the box a gun metal color and the trim baffle an ebony or classic black, idk yet. I know it will get hit with a high gloss poly, this gun metal color almost looks like granite with a high gloss. I'm using spax screws and pre drilling, and using tite bond 3 glue to be waterproof.
