Hello, I'd like to start by saying what I've already purchased isn't going back so if it ***** that's my loss. No need to tell me it ***** or I should have got something else. What I'm asking the groups advice is specific to the sub and amp which I haven't purchased. I have a 2007 Crown Victoria which I use to commute. It's the P71 model. I just purchased the following: Pioneer FH-P8000BT - Stereo Pioneer TS-A6872R 6-Inch X 8-Inch 3-Way 240-Watt Speakers - Front and Rear speaker replacements I'm looking for an inexpensive sub/amp combo that will provide low end base for rap as well as be a good mix for rock, techno, and hip hop. I'd like to stay under $300 for both if possible. I'm not interested in how many db it plays just looking for something clean that will sound good inside with a variety of music from Cold Play to Jay-Z. Where I can get low end base as well as some punch base for rock or alternative music. I've been researching and found an RE Audio SRX 12DT For $88.00 and keep seeing the AQ amps come up. I was looking at the AQ-750. I don't want to add any batteries or mess with my electrical system. So my question is would these two be a good set up for what I'm looking for, just one 12 and the amp? If so should the box be ported? How many cubic feet should it be if I just do one 12? If not what specifically would you suggest for amp and sub? If there is anything I'm missing that can help you answer just let me know. I have zero experience with this just looking to put something together for an inexpensive price and be happy with it while I drive between Phx and Tucson. Appreciate your assistance.
