If I had to guess, I’d say it’s good for maybe 800 rms, but who knows. These newer amps are designed differently and way smaller than I’m used to. I’m accustomed to even 800 watts rms being double the size of this thing, so I may just be out of touch with these digital amps. I just am not convinced yet that I will get anywhere near the 1400 rms at 14 volts it claims.
They seem ok. I’m only running a 300 watt rms sub on the mono amp right now, so it’s hard to say until I put a bigger sub in there. I have 2 audio legion 10s in my shop that I haven’t built a box for yet. In a couple of weeks I will throw those in and see if it will put out the 1200 rms it claims. I doubt it puts out what it claims though. First thing I noticed is when installing is that it doesn’t accept anywhere near a 4 gauge wire. I had to trim it significantly to fit it in the connection. 60 amps worth of fuses on the amp, yet claiming it consumes 150 amps with signal bass in the manual doesn’t quite add up either.
