Caps are crap. Based on 1500W RMS max, I don't think you have a lot to worry about. I'd say install it first and then you can use a DMM and see if you are in need of more power.

Bigger battery, or a second battery, do the Big 3 and make sure all your **** has a great ground...after I did the Big 3 and grounded my two batteries to the engine block and both sides of the frame...no dimming.

LOL! This doesn't just relate to car audio for me as whenever I start ANY project, I am running back and forth to my workbench 1,000 times to grab something I forgot, be it a tool or something like a ring terminal, butt end connector, zip tie, electrical tape, etc. Drives me nuts.

I don't know if I would call it economical. Plus, as I am sure many know, it didn't all come together at once and I am constantly tweaking it and looking for new stuff. I'm figuring when all is said and done I've got at least $2K into it over the years, not counting all my own time working...

No problemo...link up that battery one too...I followed that when I added two Kinetiks to my truck...very informative and there are a shitload of battery questions every day.
