In The Market For A Good Media Receiver

Those who have read my previous threads know that my setup is anything but ordinary, as I have had to adapt it to the harsh real-world environment of an over-the-road tractor-trailer truck. I have been using an Alpine CDA-9884 with an iPod, patched out to a home theatre receiver powered by an...

Pioneer head unit FM sound *****

Just my $0.02, not to flame, but IMO your major problem is, it's a Pioneer. Years ago when I delivered pizzas before I started driving big rigs, I had all Pioneer in my car, and had nothing but problems. Been a Kenwood/Alpine man ever since and I will never buy Pioneer equipment again.

AI-Net appears to be a standard, looks like JVC and Sony use it as well. I am looking to buy a USB reader for the AI-Net port on...

AI Net compatibility on Alpine CDA series?

Hi all, hoping someone can help me with a solid, reliable answer on this... Apologies for the long thread, but I feel it is best to explain the situation thoroughly. I have an Alpine CDA-9884 that I bought new around 2008. I used its built-in iPod control, but never explored its other...
