okay, thats the new plan, 2 midbass 4ohm 200wrms and 2midrange 4ohm 200w rms. gonna hold off on tweeters. to keep things simple

My original plan was get a beefy 4ch amp and put 2 speakers on each channel wired parallel/series. would that not work? Im thinking about dropping the tweeters and just using 2midbass and 2midrange with same impedance instead

Do I need a special type of amp if I plan on running 2 midbass on 1 channel, 2 midrange on 2nd, and two tweeters on another? Someone told me I may need a bandpass amp but Im not sure. all 4 speakers are going to be around 150-200w rms

are midbass speakers supposed to be inside a box? or can I mount them above my trunk like regular 6.5s?
