I have made the mistake of buying 2 subs and an amp by MA, The amp over heated after only an hour of operation. The subs were sloppy, and missed certain tones. I would look towards another brand. What are you looking to power with that amp, maybe I can help yea find a better one. Just my two...

I have 2 JL 500/1's and had both benched, 1 read 725 rms and the other 730 rms. I have blown both of my 10" L7's a few times (lol i just cant learn). But i am very impreased with this am and have no complaints, except I blew my subs (but s**t happends right) "Second place is the first loser"

most deff. go w/the JBL 1200.1 for the price, the power u'll get, and the quality. It realy cant be beat.

These subs are all about looks and would not recomend them, id say spend the extra 20-50 bucks and get a better quality sub. Just my two cents...................

The Rockford Fosgate amp is better if cost isnt a factor. But if money is a factor then id say the 1200.1

Ok the bulb that came w/the cap is just a resistor(which every bulb is) u can go to radio shack and pick up a lil bulb similar to the 1 u used to have. A cap can do damage to a stock alternator and that may be the reason it died, so if your new 1 is a higher output you shouldent have a problem...

Dont go with MA. I made that mistake before. You can try 2 10" L7's, 12"L5's or some Alpine 12" type R's, Most of the JL Audio subs. MTX subs, RF subs up to the punch HX2. Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1. Just my 2 cents..................

Those subs may look sweet but they realy ****, Zane has pointed out many times how they look like the prymid subs just with a new paint job. I have heard them and would never recomend them to anyone. They just didnt perform as well as i thought. Just my 2 cents........................

If u can find it cheap go for the JL 500/1 if not, the JBL 1200.1 is the next best amp, i think its a unanimous desition tho, lol

JBL dosent ****, they are very powerful amps and at the price they are listed at, how can you beat it. A friend of mine has a 1,200 powering 2 12" perfects and its amazing. just my 2 cents....................

I have 2 JL 500/1's and they are awsome, they've got every thing you need to get the most out of your sub/s. The lowsest price ive seen online was 375.oo. But the store i bought mine from sold them to me for 325.oo(if I was buying 2). and 350 for 1.
