I am running 1/0 to the rear of the vehicle to an additional battery. What would be the best dist. block (1/0 in, 2 4awg. out) in your opinion? Also, should I put a main line fuse before the additional battery or just come off thye battery with the dist. block and fuse protect from there?

Is there a difference in ring terminals? Compression vs. screw down vs. crimp? Does one style give better performance? My main concern is I'm uprading the supply wire to 1/0 because of an ongoing low power issue and I don't want the ring terminals into the disto block and beyond to be an issue.

Just finished installing a Pioneer DEH HU in son's car. Unsure of exact model. Anyway, we noticed when we turn the key from either car running or acc. to off position we get a loud POP from the sub.The sub is a JL 13W7 being powered by a JL 1000/1 V1.Any ideas?
