Okay brother, I am only on page one and I am extremely entertained by all that I am seeing. I am not an installer but an enthusiast so I love this stuff. I wish I had a huge vehicle like that and a budget haha... I would really like some work on my Touareg but I also don't have all that space! =(

Well again confused. There are a million amps out there from various manufactures running SQ and SPL... so telling me I am limited to just JL is a bit confusing. Find it hard to believe there are no other manufactures that offer amps that can give me 1500 watts rms power continuous.

Like I found a Memphis Audio amp 16-mcd 1500 for a good price...

Okay but is JL the only amp manufacture. I think you're missing my question. =) Are there any other manufactures that run that type of power supply? Sundown? DC? etc... that have an amp that is larger?

I know.. I have been looking! I meant are there any other amps out there? Seeing as the highest JL has is the 1200/1... I want to get around 1500/1700... Grr just want the most out of this sub, along with the box issue we were talking about.

I have heard loud ported boxes. Some that sounded phenomenal! However most of them dropped off heavily on many frequencies. I play such a diverse amount of music that I want to be able to cover it all... This is why I have stuck with sealed and pushed more power... And I am limited on space in...
