Well we just became an RE dealer quite recently and so far i've only done 2-3 cars with RE in which we used the SX line all three times. We finally got an MX in to put on the floor but have yet to hear any thing but the SX's and the SE's.

So i'm just curious what kind of numbers your car does Bama. We're an RE dealer and i'm thinking about going with the MX's. Anyone got any input? We're talking about RE now people, don't come back with "oh, get type R's, or assassins or kicker" I don't want to hear that b/s. Positive feedback...

If it were me i would look around and find a woofer with a very high effenciency since you're only going with one woofer. The type R probably isn't a bad choice even though i'm not too into Alpine. Or maybe even the Diamond D3 12 or something like that.

Um, with the right power the XXX will get MUCH louder then the SX. The SX are more efficient but they will tend to level off much sooner then the XXX. So, if you're running 1000 watts RMS then i would agree that the SX is the better choice but if you have a big ole burley amp that's over 2000...
