    how do i hook up a car amplifier to a bookshelf stereo system

    my friend was telling me that hooking up a car amp to a house stereo would mess up the amp.... is this true? btw i have an old jensen 200 watt amp and a panasonic stereo.

    is this amp any good?

    im about to get an amp in a trade, but i dont know if this amp is any good. all i know is that it's a jenson and it's a couple years old. if you could tell me the model name and if it's any good i'd really appreciate it. thanx. heres a couple pics of it:
