i have the 6000ub

i was like you and didnt know if i wanted the 6000 or 600

there is no differance in specs at all they are both 4v @ 100ohm or something close to that

anyways they are the exact same just the 2 year warranty vs the 1 year

if your like me you buy a new head unit every 3-4 months so warranty doesnt matter

the 6000 and the 600 both charge the ipod and have really great control

you will like the list button where you can find songs by the same artist by holding down the list button

the usb is great and very fast

if there is anything else you wanna know just ask

Thanks for the info man. I'm thinking the 600 looks a lot sleeker and what not. Headunit shopping is always a tough decision man haha

The only differences are the warranty and that you can turn off the internal amp on the premier.

The P600 is black all the way across while the P6000 has silver buttons around the Rotary Commander.

I'll put my vote in for the P600 because of the warranty and the USB cable, which is not included with the P6000.

is the ipod the only mp3 player that can work with this unit? I just bought a nice philips mp3 player and the pioneer 6000 recognizes the usb being connected but i then get an error-19. all my flash drives work flawlessly. I hate to take back my philips and stick with flash drives or external hdd.
