I have a kicker 2500.1 and I am going to be purchasing two dual 1.4 ohm subwoofers. I know my amp isnt stable at 1 ohm and only 2 ohm stable but my question is,will I be able to run the subs at 1.4 ohm since imp. rise might bring them up to 2 ohm or somewhere around there or will I not be able to run them? thanks.

Well I have enough of an electrical to keep the volts up where they need to be,and at lights i turn it down until i am driving again just so there is no real strain on anything.

As long as you've got the electrical, you'll be fine. I've heard of people running these amps at one ohm with no problems.

It also lowers the amps efficiency and raises the current draw.
