I got a Jensen VX4010 and on the battery/memory harness wire there is a in line fuse box that looks like it takes a mini 15 amp fuse. I tried to put one in but it does not go in tight and will not hold. So my question is does one actually go in the box and if one does what type?

Here is the box with cover on

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...
