1994 t bird muffler

if ur headlights r yellowed all u have to do is get some rubbing compound and a buffing wheel and go to town on them. i did it and mine look hella better. silver where u at in michigan?

okay thanxs well today somebody hit my car and now both side corner lights on the front are busted up into pices and i noticed that the black ones go all the way around and cover the corner lights so i may just get them instead of forking out extra money for new corner lights thanxs alot guys.

well i might just buy clear corners then i thought they where 100 or so.....also if i did the buffing wheel thing would it make my stock head lights clear again. and how do i get the stock head lights off. thanxs

well here is a drawing of what my muffler job looks like i have labled everything......it doesnt look very good since i dont have my cad program like i use at school so i had to use paint. but i think im going to cut the pipe in front of the cat and then use a rod and knock them out. also im going to cut the pipe in front of my resantor and then knock it out.

i dont have the oem muffler anymore they took it off. but they put the flow master right after the resanotor to make it louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif which it didnt it still sounds like stock. also after i knock out the cats will it sound like a bumble bee.

Gotcha! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Hold off knocking things out though.....

Honestly, the Cats are far to costly to replace to just obliterate them right off the bat. Put that idea on the back burner for a while and think this through a little more first. (You'll be glad you did in the long run.)

Try just removing the Flowmaster and replacing it with a chunk of straight pipe.

If that isn't loud enough, then you can always remove the resonator and replace it with straight pipe as well.

Chances are the removal of the Flowmaster will be sufficient.

Why the h*ll the shop put your muffler there is beyond me. Must have had Matilda the Purple Ape working on your car that day....... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Good Luck!!!

Off the top of my head.

I don't recall any companies that make aftermarket tails for these cars.

Keep in mind that much of what the same year Mustangs have will also carry over to the T-Birds as well!

As for bottom end improvement; rear end gears will offer you the most noticable improvement. Just remember that what you add to the lower power range, you will loose in the upper power range. Especially with a gear ratio as low as 4:10 - Just a trade off with things....

IIRC- the stock gear ratio is about 3:27 - So unless you are looking to run insane quarter mile times, I'd stick to a swap of 3:55 or if that's not enough 3:73.

A transmission Shift Kit or JET ECU upgrade would also be beneficial.

Have a look at a few of the specific tech sites for these cars:
