600w rms sub in 1.3 cu ft sealed

Reason people for the mist part are saying what they are is specs or hear say. For instance I have a dd 3512. Specs say ported only no sealed. But I ran it sealed in a 1.75^3 box in the wife's car and it sounded great until it blew after 5 years. Now it's been reconed like new again But I'd ask for personal experiences with subs sealed and pick from there
