6x9s

Which are better 3way 6x9s or 4way or is it just choice. Is there a need to hook a amp to them? Also What can i do to cut down on the rattling i get from my tag. I heard screw it with 4 screws but that didnt really work.

as for the license plate dynamat the back of it and put it back on there that should help a lot although I would do the entire back of the car. As for the 6x9 thing I never recommended anything over a three way but that is partially opinion....seems like overkill I mean 6x9's are normally in the back depending on vehicle which is rear fill anyway, bring the high end up front. I usually recommend putting an amp on anything......but it depends on the efficiency of the speaker
