depends on what your doing with your system if u need an equalizer you can always buy one and add it in...it is a nice deck deff if you got it for free i had it a few years ago its in my g.f car now its a nice sounding deck even with the stock speakers in my her car i never tryed it with a full system yet though

 
I see this is one of the IMPRINT head units. You do have Bass Engine Pro, which lets you adjust the bass and treble center frequencies, cut or boost bass and treble, and adjust the bandwidth of those settings. It's better than nothing, but Imprint would make a big difference based on what I've learned about it.

I'm hoping to find someone who might be able to repair this head unit. The faceplate doesn't slide out at all.

The cutting it off part is what I'm confused about now. The speakers in my car have two wires coming off of them but I would only have one wire on...
