amp for 2 12'' aa atlas's

ive been asking this same question on 2 other forums and have gotten alot of mixed answers.

what would be a good amp for 2 12'' ascendant audio atlas's? ive been looking at the hifonics bx1500d. but i dont know how well this would work.

im getting a box built for me thats gonna be 2.0 ft^3 of airspace per sub tuned to 30 hz.

Would the hifonics work?

is ther anything better then that, that would still give me around 350-400 watts per sub?

im gonna be having tweeter install this system for me cuz i have no idea of how to go about doing it.

and if u could please tell me that with whatever amp you suggest to me tell me how i should get tweeter to wire them up.

i was told with the hifonics that i would wire them in parallel to get a 2 ohm load. but the ampo runs at 1000 watts at 2 ohms so then that would be 500 per sub and i dont want that much power going to them. so if i do go with this sub how would i go baout wireing it so that i get a 3 ohm load so it would be around 300 per sub.

I am running the Profile 1000M on one AA Atlas 12... about $100. Could get two for the price of one Hifonics..

yea. i got a profile CA1000 for $86 shipped. scoop a pair of those and bridge at 4ohm for ~450w

but if you get two amps (one per sub) make sure all the settings are identical.

with that hifonics, just turn the gain down a little and they will be fine. its always better to have headroom.

which would be better for the subs? and which one would sound better? the hifonics or 2 profiles? i have an old car so im already concered about my alternater not being able to push my setup. would haveing 2 amps put more of a strain on the battery and alternator then one amp?

im very new to car audio, this will be my first system. so i have no idea what bridgeing a amp is or how i would go about doing it.
