Where did you come up with that price? SRP is only $1299 and MAP is $1199. Im quite curious as to who told you $1500.i would say save your money and go with the tru 4100, quite pricy but well worth the money, it runs 1500 from Tru direct btw
Tough call between the two as the dynamics of each are considerably different. Also one is a 4 channel which gives the oppurtunity for biamping and the other obviously does not. All in all you cant go wrong with either.between the arc xxk and the dls which do you think would be the way to go. Since i can get both for within about 50 dollors of each other.
I'm still sticking with my recommendation for the Alpine PDX amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
But if you want either of those you listed, flip a coin.
PDX-4.150 is $439 shipped free from OCS. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifthe dls is new for about 450 off ebay. and the xxk is about 400+ of ebay seeing that you know rainbows best which would you go with, and if i biamped would 80 per channel be enough? OR would something like the sundown 100.4 which give 100 per channel be more opt for biamping, and can it compet with these amps as far as sound quality?
A good full range Class D will be indistinguishable from an A/B in a properly installed and tuned system. And that Alpine is a great one.only thig about the pdx is its a class d amp, and isnt adventages to use a class a/b amp for comp.
