iirc , the poly mids were going at that price when they had them on sale. like when the original assassin 8's were $50 a pop.... i should of grabbed 10 at that price lol.

i have 2 sets of polys and 1 set of carbons. i dont notice a soudn difference, both are very great sounding. Lucky i didnt get raped by an AA dealer, i bought them from another user on here. dont notice a tinsel slap.

As for bass they cannot replace a subwoofer if that is what u want.

yeah i picked up one of the first pair of carbons when they sold out of the poly's. so chad hooked me up with these for 35 a piece. I believe there plan was to only increase the price on the carbons slightly, then Chad i think sold AA to Fi and the prices went up
