My installer told me that the DEI 520T backup battery will not support my sirens with enough juice to run for any amount of time. I have 7 sirens right now and I was just wondering if this is true or has he just got it installed wrong?
I took a look at the install and there are 2 pairs of pos and neg wires on the module. 1 pair goes to the backup battery and I'm guessing the other pair goes to a constant 12v source right? Well, it's hooked up right and I've verified that it's hooked up right with a DMM, but it doesn't work. I can disconnect the neg battery terminal and the alarm does not do anything when it's armed. Any ideas?
